12. 'A View From 3rd Street"-Jude Cole. This album came out in 1990 and I still listen to it to this day. I will never forget "Baby It's Tonight" and "House Full of Reasons".
11. "The World As Best as I Remember It-Vol I"-Rich Mullins. I will never forget hearing "Step by Step" for the first time. This album is a true Christian album.
10. "All The Roadrunning"-Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler-I bought this album in 2006 and it is STILL in my car. One of the best duet albums that I have heard. The songwriting is amazing and the tunes are just fun. One of those rare records that I loved when the first note was played of "Beachcombing." I love "This is Us" and "Beyond My Wildest Dreams."
9. "Behold the Lamb of God"-Andrew Peterson-Yes, this is a Christmas album but I cannot imagine anything else in creation being as creative and excellent as this album. This album is amazing even during the summer.

8. "Cry Like a Rainstorm/Howl Like the Wind"-Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville-Coming out in 1989, this is the first album that I ever truly loved. Every song on this record gives me chills.
7. "A Liturgy, Legacy, and a Ragamuffin Band"-Rich Mullins-This album is profound-the lyrics and compstion are stunning. This record also includes one of my favorite songs of all time in ,"Peace". It was amazing to see Rich perform this album live in 1994-just three years before his death. He actually stood in line with us for his own concert.
6. "Audible Sigh"-Vigilantes of Love-This album is the best Americana album of all time in my opinion. It was so good that it came out in three different versions (with the essential, "Your Part of the Story" and "Hard Luck and Heart Attack"). Bill Mallonee is a genius songwriter.
5. "Marc Cohn"-Marc Cohn. Simply put, this is the best debut album of all time. I have no idea how you could get any better than this. From "Walking in Memphis", "Silver Thunderbird", "Ghost Train", to the song that makes my wife cry everytime, "True Companion".
4. "Dreams of The Color Blind"-Jason Harrod and Bryan Funck-Holy cow, this album is magic. I have never heard one like it and probably never will. Produced by the late Mark Heard(one of the last projects he did before his death). This album is a lost gem in a world of music that is terrible right now-a must have. Their eponymous album and their live album are excellent as well.
3. "Second Hand"-Mark Heard-In 1991, Mark Heard came out with a trilogy of albums that I would hold up against The Beatles. This album is like listening to a greatest hits album but it is an original piece. The opener "Nod Over Coffee" to my favorite, "Look Over Your Shoulder". It is a shame that albums are not made this way any more.
2. "Chase the Buffalo"-Pierce Pettis-This is the best album that I have ever heard in my life. Every song is a classic and the symbolism and metaphors used throughout this masterpiece are like none other. What makes this album even greater is that it is out-of-print and almost impossible to find. Written in a very dark time in Pettis's life, this is a once in a lifetime album.
1. "Satelite Sky"-Mark Heard
This is the grandaddy of all albums. This was released a mere 2 months before his death and is the most complete album that I have heard. Each song is prolific and epic-especially when you consider that he was only 40 when he passed away. This album, along with Second Hand is out of print and hard to find which adds to the greatness. A must listen-this albums actually makes me believe that a Christian album can actually be stellar and life-changing.
